Missing SCOTTISH TERRIER
Posted by BJV (-86) 8 years ago
According to his caretaker in Kinsey, my 2 y/o black male Scottish terrier went missing on 04/15/15 near mile marker #13, route 486 approx. 1 week prior to my return to pick him up after work. According to information received from his caretaker he ran out the door and she believes he was taken by someone. Reportedly he has been sighted near the Kinsey Bridge 04/21, and crossing route 486 above Kinsey School and near mile marker # 16 on 04/28. If you find him please RETURN him to me, take him to the Miles City Veterinary Clinic. He was loved and well cared for by me, certified in good health, clean, groomed, no fleas, ticks, or mites, and receiving preventative heart worm medication. He wore a black/colorful bones collar with identification tags (Home Again, MCVC rabies vacc, Woulvgang/Valentine phone#, rhinestone paw print jangle. If you find him please RETURN him to me, call me at the telephone number on his name tag or take him to the Miles City Veterinary Clinic.

AND if he was taken and is being held or hidden because it was believed his owner did not take good care of him the person or party responsible for this is sadly mistaken. PLEASE RETURN HIM TO HIS RIGHTFUL OWNER!

Miles City and Kinsey I know you can help bring this dog home to its owner. Please report any sightings of him.this owner would like their dog back if you have stolen him. Please return him.

There seems to be a lot of finger pointing at stolen dog here? Is there a reason for this or just suspecting people of MC to be pet thieves? I mean, was there at some point during this dogs life where some one approached the family and told them they were mis-treating the dog? Just seems odd to keep saying he is stolen if in fact maybe something else happened to the poor dog, god forbid it, but stuff happens.

Anyways, good luck on finding your dog, I too am a dog lover and would do anything possible to get my dogs back.

According to his caretaker he ran out the door and she believes he was taken. I am searching for him, not finger pointing, and can only gather information as is given to me. Someone told me that because he was seen wandering some people thought that he was not being taken care of and said that hopefully whoever took him is taking good care of him. A young woman at the Kinsey Bridge park actually had the nerve to say to me that if she had found such a cute dog she would keep him. I would very much like for him to be returned. He is my beloved pet and he WAS well cared for by me. I made that point clear. I was not here when this happened and sadly learned that he was not kept on his leash when outdoors. I have to wonder why he would RUN OUT THE DOOR as well. Someone may be hiding my dog, waiting for me to leave, assuming that they can then keep him. I travel with my dog, and like it or not, I am not parting with my pet, not even for work in fabulous Hawaii. Travel to my work assignment and travel arrangements prevented me from taking him with me as planned. I will never leave my pet with anyone again.

THE REASON WHY HE HAS NOT BEEN FOUND YET IS BECAUSE SOMEONE WILL NOT RETURN HIM! Apparently someone was hoping that I would relocate and not return for my pet. HE DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU! STOP HIDING HIM AND WHOEVER DROPPED HIM OFF HAS ABSOLUTELY NO CONCERN FOR HIM WHATSOEVER!! YOUR GAMES ARE OVER! RETURN HIM!!!

It sounds like you know who took him. Why don't you talk to the police?

ANYONE COULD BE PARTICIPATING IN THIS GAME! THE POLICE HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED. ANY INFORMATION LEADING TO HIS RECOVERY AND THE APPREHENSION OF THE PERSON OR PARTY INVOLVED WOULD BE MOST HELPFULL!! NOT NAYSAYING!!

This is very sad. I can't believe there are people who would steal someone else's pet. If someone stole my dog, I suspect I would go all caplock as well.

ALL CAPS is not easier to read online. Studies have shown ALL CAPS text slows reading comprehension. Also, established netiquette considers ALL CAPS as SHOUTING. It is best to avoid (unless you are actually shouting, or particularly enjoy irritating the vast majority of people) - but it's your prerogative.

Umm... How do you know that the person who has your dog reads what is posted here? And if you know that person does read this website, then your dog is not missing as you suggest. Rather he/she  is in the custody of someone else who may or may not be the rightful owner. Seems to me that a phone call to the sheriff's office would solve you problem, if the second scenario is true.

Shouting at all of us is not going to solve your problem.

I DONT NEED IT BONINE.......AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED........SOMEONE IS GETTING A KICK OUT THIS. STOP ACCUSING ME OF 'SHOUTING'. AS FAR AS BEING IN THE CUSTODY OF SOMEONE ELSE WHO MAY OR MAY NOT BE THE RIGTHFUL OWNER...............I AM HIS OWNER..............THE POLICE HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED. MY DOG WENT MISSING ACCORDING TO HIS CARETAKER WHO OBVIOUSLY DID NOT TAKE CARE............I WANT MY DOG RETURNED............NOW!

Nice job in completely losing my sympathy. You are a blithering idiot.

The dog is probably better off with its new owner.

it is possible the dog got out and met a unfortunant fate, it does sadly happen look at all the other dogs in miles city that were missing and then found dead, you can't say for sure someone stole the dog. i do sincerely hope that this is not the case but ....

To the person who had been holding and keeping Woulvgang the scottish terrier....AND YOU OBVIOUSLY DID SO WHILE HIS OWNER HAD SEARCHED FOR HIM...instead of returning him to his owner like a normal human being you jeapardized his life by dropping him off and/or by 'letting him out' from where ever the hell you had held him your captive...WHATEVER THE HELL YOUR REASON FOR DOING WHAT YOU DID WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S BELOVED PET........YOU ARE SADLY MISTAKEN.....YOU HAD ABSOLUTELY NO REASON WHATSOEVER TO DO THIS TO BJV OR Woulvgang! ACCORDING TO A SOURCE YOU LIED AND FALSELY ACCUSED BJV OF ABANDONING Woulvgang...he is now in the hands of a despicable and disreputable person whose only concern is to make a buck off of him....threatening BJV for going to the police and threatening to kill Woulvgang! GOD only knows what more they have endured as a result of what you did! Woulvgang did not deserve to be taken from his owner! BJV did absolutely nothing to deserve this kind of hospitality from you folks either! Justice for Woulvgang! Justice for BJV!

There are reasons why we don't buy the 'he ran out the door' statement. There was definitely some premeditation here. Strange.

It seems that 4 years ago it was known who had him. Was he recovered from the person "hiding him"? Did he go missing again? Why is the link shared from 4 years ago being brought up again?
