To who ever didnt like my last post he raped a five year old child on ten different occasions while he was babysittin this child he only did four years of prison thay say he is the highest to re affend he is a level 3 yes he may committed the crime in 1996 the time or how long ago does not matter he still did it pleaded guilty for it and then soon after he was released he raped agean and this time she was an adult female he spent another four years in prison ive been looking this man up for the last week he is a very sick person and he should not be able to go down to our local game store and be around our children people think miles city is.a safe place to for your children but people like this hangout where your children are most likely to be in the red zone

The site lists Robert Gotschall of Miles City as a level 3 sex offender. In Montana:

If this guy is as you say then it's probably part of his parole that he not frequent places where children are likely to be. I suggest that you report this to the police. They will have his restrictions on file and can take the necessary actions.

That is correct that we are a game store and that we do not discriminate because it is against the law. He served his time, finished his probation, and has completed the courses that was required for a crime that was committed over 20 years ago. We do understand that there are many concerns to a lot of people, but to let every one know that we are aware of this and concerns are addressed in this order since no one asked me the owner, what steps are being followed and taken to protect children and my own as well. Rob is never here alone with any minors with out another adult being my husband and myself being present. That was decided on both all parties including Rob. I have checked with the police department and dfs and there is no stipulation on being around children and there is not, so what we have came up with to stop all worries of the many children and there safety for everyone involved he is not around children without another adult present.

I was on probation for failure to register out of south Dakota. this is quentin roufley im a really good friend of rob's his like a brother to me. Like most of you dumbass I never wanted rob around my kids or near them. when I heard all that poop about him. because he was dating my ex wife and my two kids were there around him so I called dfs and the cops about it and they checked him out and came back and told me that according to records there was nothing saying he couldn't be around kids!!! Then I got ahold of rob and sat down one on one with him and talked about all of it. I told him what I felt and what would happen if he laid a hand on my kids. we talked for several hrs about it. from what I have learned and witnessed rob would never lay a hand on a kid in that kind of way it makes him sick and to hear others do that to kids pisses him off. from everything I know of sex offenders they do not respond that way and I have been around a lot of them. he has told me if I don't feel safe with him being around my kids at any time to say something. he has also made it clear that to set my mind at ease he would never be around my kids ever with out an adult around. im going to leave it at that if you guys still want to talk poop and run ur mouths before you talk to him and get to know him. then you can come to me and talk that poop face to face with me or michhelle or trevor zabroski we will have no problem talking to you about it or help you with any questions you might have.

Michelle, I am heartbroken that you had to endure this horrific crime of molestation. You were willing to name your perpetrator on this forum with no problem and let citizen's of MC know and beware of this man (which is your every right to do so)----AND, likewise, it is hothead's freedom of speech to inform people of Robert. Now, it is up to the parents of children that go to this game shop to decide if it this is a safe place to allow their children to be....or at least use caution. I believe most parents would want to know this information. No one should condemn you for this in any way. I would think Michelle would completely understand this too, being a young child that went through the pain of being violated. There is NO reason to say anything else on this subject. It is of known fact that most child molesters will be repeat offenders if given the opportunity. This is a small town----we look out for one another. I would never allow any one to hurt any of these children, and if you have questions or concerns, bring your child in and come in with them sit down and talk with my husband or myself. I would be happy to talk to any one about anything they want to know. There is a lot of people that have been abused, mentally, physically, psychologically, and emotionally, and should never have been. I have even stopped it at my store between family members. So for someone to say that I would allow any abuse to happen and drag my family name and my store name through the mud is really upsetting to me, I didn't see any other post about other offenders going to any other establishments in town, so please allow me the respect I earn.

Robert Alton Gotschall, 32, is considered a Level 3 offender. Level 3 offenders have been determined by state corrections officials to be the highest risk to re-offend. Gotschall was charged in Big Stone County in July, 1996 with second-degree criminal sexual conduct, according to Big Stone County Court Administration. He pled guilty to the charge on Nov. 6, 1996. Gotschall was convicted of having sexual contact with a 5-year-old boy on several occasions while babysitting him, said Big Stone County Sheriff Joe Berning. &uot;The family found out about it and we did an investigation,&uot; Berning said. Also note the following limitations and cautions:

I am sorry that a lot of people felt that they could not talk to me about this but now to set everyone's mind at ease, rob has come to me and stated and agreed that he will not hang around the game store, but he will come in to purchase and sell items, so parents can feel safe and allow there kids not be stripped of something that they like to do. Thank you hot head, for bringing this to my attention. I have 3 gamers in my house which are about to be of age to ride bikes to town and play. No doubt the game stop "would have" been a place they "would have" visited if not frequented. I do not care about the courts ruling on the term of his sentence, our deeds follow us for life, and the only thing we really own is our actions. Some actions are forgivable, actually most are, but not the rape and molestation of our youth.
I am also opening a family friendly business in town this summer, and need to keep an eye on predators. So thanks again for using whatever means you could to bring this to our attention..

And out of those 2,000 - 3,000 and some 51-52 of them live in miles city...lol. If ya look on the sexual offender website you'll notice some have not verfied their address....personally it does make me uncomfortable to know a level III is working in an a place where there are constantly kids around. I dont care how long ago the offense happened, or if he/she supposedly changed....noway would I subject my child to the chances of it happening to him or her.
