The Miles City Cowboy Poetry Gathering, featuring poetry, music and a dinner, will be held Saturday, Feb. 21, in the Pioneer Memorial Hall in the Range Riders Museum.
Poetry and music are scheduled from 4 to 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner, served by the Range Riders Reps, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and an open mic session from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Among those participating in the gathering are Bob Peterman of Wibaux, western music; Owen Badgett of Ingomar, Jess Howard of Wibaux and Ann Secrest Hanson of Bowman, North Dakota, poetry; and Almeda Bradshaw of Huntley, ballads.
Anyone wishing to participate in the open mic session may call Sharon Moore at (406) 234-7500, email her at: [email protected] or register at the door the night of the event. Tickets, which include the dinner, are $25 and also are available from Moore and from Vern Taylor, phone (406) 234-2502. This event is a fund raiser for the museum.
