Based on the weather at seven p.m. on Sunday, November 9, he was right about ice.

Dear Amorette,. How generous of you to send your artic blast our way. Yesterday, in Denver, it was 60 degrees in morning. By two in the afternoon the temperature dropped to the low twenties.

At least you are ABOVE zero. If only it had left here when it moved on to you. I don't want a wall between us and Mexico! I want a wall between us and Canada to keep that cold weather in the Arctic where it belongs.

It’s +45 and raining right now here in King Salmon. Not bad for November 11.

The wind is supposed to blow this evening through tomorrow afternoon. The forecast is calling for: “Wind...50 to 65 mph with gusts up to 80 mph.”

Could get nasty, but at least it shouldn’t be -45 when the wind kicks in.

So, therefore, our most spirited conversation is about the weather.

There are strange things done in the midnight sun
By the men who moil for gold;
The Arctic trails have their secret tales
That would make your blood run cold;
The Northern Lights have seen queer sights,
But the queerest they ever did see
Was that night on the marge of Lake Lebarge
I cremated Sam McGee.

OH!!! Robert Frost not Robert Service......nevermind then. The cremation of Sam McGee is a better poem anyway.

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Blah Blah Blah Like that makes any difference.
