Carwash Again
Posted by Joel reagor (+180) 8 years ago
Well here is my rant...I got to work on Monday morning to find out I would be needed for a night shift for a few weeks, also I might be using my car to give a few folks a ride during my shift. So I headed home to get some rest, and since it was my daughters day off I asked her if she would clean out and wash my car. When she came back from the car wash she was not in tears, but close to it.She said she pulled up to the trash cans and was cleaning out the car (a few pop cups and some candy wrappers) when ..I don't know if it was the owner or an employee came up to her and said, you are lucky I don't call the cops on you for putting your trash in my dumpster, and " she was lucky he was working and not the other guy or they would already be there giving her a ticket for trespassing".She said she explained to him she was cleaning out the car and was going to wash it and got this response.YOU BETTER IM TRYING TO RUN A BUSSINESS HERE .Then the guy closed the lid on the dumpster she putting trash in and locked it. Well to make short the long of it... that's the last time I or anyone in my family will use that car wash. And if your wondering if she finished washing the car, yes she did. Hope you have a better time than she did on you next visit!

You really need to call Stevenson's. This has been a pattern for a long time. I know Stevenson's would never treat anybody that way.

If you're talking about Big Sky carwash on Haynes, the guy who runs the place (and I assumed was the owner) yelled at me about that very thing.

Here's your best option. Use the car wash in town that is automatic and NOT BROKEN. The Big Sky Car Wash ALWAYS has something broken down, or malfunctioning. I've only encountered that issue once at Town Pump, which resulted in a free future wash AND the closure of the autowash until repairs were complete. Unlike Big Sky, where you can wash it 10 times through the autowash and still have a dirty car.

We also have stopped using Stevensons car wash because of the extremely rude person working there. I don't know why he still has a job. So very rude and you don't hear most of the stories of the people he has been rude to. The fact that he is still there does reflect badly on the owners.

I went there this summer and was vacuuming my car when I felt water spraying me, I turned around and there is Freddy " washing the pavement" with a hose and spraying water on me. I told him to stop he was getting me wet and he yelled at me! He said " I'm doing my job". He continued on so I threw the vacuum hose and left. Never been back since and I will never ever go there again. So many people have complained and he still has his job so I'm done there as well.

Pretty sad this guy still has a job. Over and over he has been a rude asshole and nothing is done about. But when the owners have money they are not concerned on how their workers are treating their customers I guess, that's what it looks like for him to still be there

I have a feeling that this is a guy who is employed only because of the generosity of the Stevensons and that he would not otherwise be working. Kudos to the Stephensons for keeping him employed.

Well, unless he has a disability or something I'm not aware of, he should be replaced with someone better. This topic has been brought up multiple times, and if it were me visiting that business and treated that way ... I would never go back. I can only assume Wendy is being sarcastic.

Could be he is connected by kinship, common origin, or marriage.

Mandi, you inspired me to upload a few photos of the ABC Glass & Signs building that I took last summer.

ABC Glass did a great job of fixing up this building. It was originally built as a Goodyear Tire Store then it became a Sears appliance and catalog store, then it was a lube center for many years.
