Well, there is a nasty, lingering phlegm laden cold and a particularly virulent barfing bug going around but no official influenza. . . yet.

I hate disease season.

You sure seem to get sick a lot.

The only time I seem to get sick anymore, is from flying. I got a cold last October when I went to Europe. Haven't been sick since then.

I attribute that to my healthy diet of beer.

I've had one cold that lasted only 2 days in the 2 years since I moved from Gillette. Used to have chronic sinus issues. I drink more Jamison now than I did in the past. I suspect there are other reasons as well.

I don't have them yet. I am just anticipating. They will arrive at the most inauspicious time and Steve will get a nasty sinus infection and a cough that makes me want to hold a pillow over his face.

Have I ever mentioned I'm bi-polar and have Seasonal Affective Disorder?

My poor family is in for a LONG winter no matter the weather.

Take Richard's advice and go snd buy Steve a big bottle of Jameson whiskey. He should remain healthy for most of the winter.

Amorette works in an unhealthy environment, namely the movie theater where she handles germ laden money. Are y ou wearing gloves? and stop rubbing your eyes. Wishing you better health this year.

I only work fill in at the theater these days but wash my hands FREQUENTLY. I have never had a great immune system. I grew up before some vaccines so had mumps, measles, rubella, chickenpox, and at least one major ear infection with a horrible cold every year, usually around Christmas. Sensitive stomach, too. Although getting rid of the gall bladder helped that.

Steve rinses with a Neti pot. Wonder if he should fill it up with Jamison?

Where is Wendy, when we need her?

Jameson is a whiskey.

Jamison is a porn star.

From John Tesh:
If you think parents of little kids are more likely to get sick – it’s the other way around! Adults without kids are more likely to catch colds!
Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University exposed hundreds of healthy adults to the common cold virus. The result: Parents are half as likely to get sick as adults who don’t live with kids.
Why would that be? Immunity! All those kid germs not only build up a child’s immune response – they help the parents become resistant too.

Yes, John Tesh would be a learned source on the common cold.

I wonder what Connie Sellecca thinks of ebola?

They are mutations of E Bola. You must stay indoors for 2 years and save all your barf for the government to monitor. Be afraid. Be very afraid!
