Amanda was very sharp, relaxed, and articulate. She answered her questions easily and did a great job on her rebuttals. She definitely had more zingers than Daines did.
Daines relied too much on the "I'M A JOB CREATOR!" and "THE NRA LOVES ME!" crutches. You could tell he was getting frazzled when he started throwing random Obama-as-pejorative comments in his answers.
It was very apparent why Daines delayed the debate as long as he could. Comparing apples to apples, he was outclassed and outmaneuvered. I hope it's enough, this late in the game.
On a related note, here's what I said in response to some of the comments posted on the Support Amanda Curtis for the U.S. Senate Facebook page:
"If you're still on the fence when it comes to the choice between Amanda Curtis and Steve Daines, please read the comments to the original link. The difference between the supporters of Curtis and Daines couldn't be made more abundantly clear. No candidate is perfect, but I'll take the candidate who doesn't attract the absolute dregs of society each and every time. The misogyny and bigotry and sheer vulgarity on the part of many of Daines' supporters is deplorable. Check out Brian Marshall Rittenhouse's comments and ask yourself if THAT is the kind of person with whom you'd choose to be associated."
Ugliness. Pure, unadulterated ugliness.
