If you value things like national forests, access to public lands (while they still exist), public education, and clean water, please donate to her campaign.

Out of 28 bills rated in the House, Cong. Daines key votes siding with oil companies and polluters are:

H.R,. 1965, which would have threatened our hunting, fishing and hiking on public lands by giving drilling a priority over these conservation uses.

He voted against H.R. 3080 which would have protected citizens ability to participate in governmental decisions affecting public health and safety, environmental protection and economic development. This would have protected the environmental review process under the National Environmental Policy Act, which is a “look before you leap” law.

H.R. 2609 would have subsidized continued dirty fossil fuels while cutting funding for renewable energy and energy efficiency AND it would threaten our steams and weltands by undermining the Clean Water Act. Cong. Daines voted for H.R. 2609.

Thanks, Tom! Sure, some pundits insist she's a longshot but as Tom McGuane says, "Giving freaks a pass is the oldest tradition in Montana." I really like what I've learned about Amanda Curtis. She works hard, plays hard, talks straight, respects science, understands math, has a musical soul and loves a 1966 Chevelle SS. Here's a sneak peek from Gail Collins of the NY Times: http://www.nytimes.com/20...share&_r=3

If you want to someday tell your grandkids about the part you played in one of the greatest stories in Montana politics since Jeanette Rankin, please join us in greeting our future U.S. senator at one of the events listed by Barb above. And bring some cash!

Every Daines commercial where he lies or his "spokeman" lies just grates on my nerves. I will be her supporter without question.

She's on fire right now, Gunnar, thanks to support like yours! There was strong turnout at both Discovery Pond's Ice Cream Social (kudos to John Scheuring) and at the Montana Room tonight. The campaign's less than a week old and she's already raised $130K in grassroots funding, attracting 4,700 LIKES on Facebook. The woman's got serious charisma. She honored Miles City with one of her campaign's first stops. Bozeman had to wait patiently in line this time.

"I can't donate to the cause but she has my vote."

There are many ways in which you can contribute without donating cash. Learn about the candidate and her stances and inform your friends. Share articles she writes. Drive your neighborhood to the polls to vote.

This is a all hands on deck situation. She will do just fine in Western MT. She needs to win in the Eastern part of the state. A lot of work to do. Help her how and where you can.

"She will do just fine in Western MT. She needs to win in the Eastern part of the state."

If she campaigns hard and spends all your money, she might win the University precincts in Missoula and Bozeman and the cemetery in Butte.

Apparently nobody in the MT Democrat leadership watched her vlogs. The Republicans did, and they are already casting her as anti-Christian and anti-family. The candidate was kind enough to supply the necessary video. If that isn't enough, her voting record is anti-gun, which really doesn't work to your advantage in Montana.

Bloomberg and the MEA can't save this one.

You do realize that what you like, oh, Odd One, is in complete opposition to what liberals like? So, if you thought she was fabulous, we'd refuse to vote for her.

Absolutely, Amorette.

We are all currently living your dream.

No, we are not. Not by a long shot. We do not have single payer healthcare. We do not have equal pay. We are not a 'post racial' society. We are not dealing with economic inequality. Women do not have bodily autonomy. We are a long, long, LONG way from my ideal society.

Sounds like "Hope and Change.".

So, that didn't work out for you?

Keep the faith! The Clinton Team is right around the corner with their bill of goods.

Do you think I would have gotten what I wanted with Romney?

And if Congress believed in governance as opposed to political posturing, who knows what could have been accomplished?

Take the poll and view the results from the home turf of Steve Daines. The Bozeman Daily Chronicle put Curtis 20 pts. behind six days ago. The Daines campaign is working with $5M in cash, two-thirds of which is sourced out of state.

That poll is skewed, Joe. Skewed that only people who use computers can vote. The typical Daines voter, the slack-jawed illiterate who watches FOX News 24/7, is unable to participate.

Rasmussen has Daines up 20 points. When you get away from the University District, Curtis is on fire alright. Going down in flames.

Oddjob, you have so many thoughts and opinions but evidently you are ashamed to let people know who you are or what your odd job is. Maybe a more suitable pseudonym would be
"oddball".

There is only one poll that matters and it isn't Rasmussen.
