I would love to hear people's experiences with the different elementary schools in the area. Good and bad experiences are always helpful. Just curious! Thanks
In Miles City, unless you go to one of the parochial schools, you attend the elementary school according to location. There are no 'magnet' schools or anything like that. If you live near Garfield, you go to Garfield. If you live near Lincoln, you go to Lincoln, although there some of the schools are k-3 or 4-6. Still, where you go depends on where you live.
I understand the school district distribution, we are simply looking at what area of Miles City we'd like to live in and schools always play a factor in our decision. Just trying to weight in whats best for the kiddos! I'm sure all of the schools are great, but its nice to have unbiased parent opinions
We moved to Miles City about 18 months ago, and I did quite a bit of "research" on the different schools and areas of town before we purchased a home. I stay at home full time with my toddler and have also tried to locate all of the different activities available for little ones and school kids during the summer. I have a kindergartener as well. I would be more than happy to share what I have learned and continue to learn. I love connecting with other moms as well. Please feel free to call me at 406-579-2575.
We have had GREAT success with Kinsey Elementary School - the school also features a bus that runs from and back to Miles City each school day. Contact the County Superintendent's office at the courthouse for more information.
