It's almost here. I have no guests this year, not even a guest horse to browse down my lawn (although it FINALLY got mowed. YAY!)

What is everyone else up to this year? Guests? Special food plans? I am not going to make the parade due to Range Riders Museum obligations (Cowboy breakfast. I don't cook. I mop the floors afterwards.) so someone will have to tell me what fabulous things I missed.

Looks like there is a good crowd getting ready for the parade. Wish I was there.

I tried watching some of the parade on milescitylive.com but that was a bust. They should rename that site milescityadvertisements.com.

I agree. The window? was larger at one time but then was made smaller for all the advertisements.

You people are pure whiners. When I ran the camera, it was based off donations. When the donations ran out, the camera went offline and everyone crapped their pants and had a fit. Now, the current owner decides to actually make money from the stupid thing you people watch, for FREE, and you still whine. If you dislike how the current live camera works, go out and purchase a HD outdoor camera, a cheap PC, find a place for it and do it yourself. Good god.

I guess the BHS is a "young person's event." I am at work today (in Forsyth) and have asked everyone who comes in, "Going to the Bucking Horse Sale?" Every single person said "Naaaaah, I grew out of that years ago" or something to that effect.

Gotta admit, that's about where I'm at. But then I never went for the actual fairgrounds events anyway, as I expect a lot of people don't.

We watched the parade on the T.V. Mid - Rivers Channel 64 live. It was nice. Thanks Mid-Rivers.

The BHS is the poorest scheduled event in Montana, as every school boy knows the third Saturday in May is the opening day of stream/creek fishing.

I floated the Big Hole this morning and pounded them. I let the rainbows, browns, and one whitefish that I caught go, and kept 5 of the biggest brook trout I caught for Breakfast tomorrow morning.

Trout, bacon, eggs, hash browns and toast.

I've missed the parade the last few years due to helping at the Range Riders breakfast but I can replay most of it in my head from the previous years. I did miss the bubble ladies, which Steve said was cool.

Admit it, Amorette. You miss the Sanjel trucks, too.

I LOVE the Sanjel trucks with all those gauges and dials. They look like something out of Myst game.

Myst game

I hate it when dated statements date me as well.
