Yahbut 1852 was before 1863 so 38 is still Gold Creek for me.

I agree with Dave. I learned in junior high that Benetsee first discovered gold in Montana at Gold Creek.

Besides, Alder Gulch came after Bannock.

# 38 could be either Gold Creek or Alder Gulch, but I suspect that neither is technically correct.
