It has been decided. Offense against defense. #1 vs. #1 The veteran goes against the up and comer. Neutral field, neutral crowd (maybe?), weather for the first outdoor Super Bowl?
Thoughts? Predictions?

I've been anticipating this matchup since october. I think that the seahawks offense vs the broncos defense is a wash but more importantly i think that the seahawk defense matches up really well against the broncos offense and every wise betting man without any emotional ties always goes with the defense. So barring a lopsided turnover ratio i'll take the Seahawks in beast mode 23-17.

A sorry receiver like Demaryius Thomas will be no match for Richard Sherman. SeaQuacks 17-13.

Seahawks 24, Broncos 21.

I'd really like to see the 'hawks win but I wouldn't mind seeing Manning get his second.

Kudos to Welker for making Bellyache cry.

Double kudos to the great Richard Sherman for making that ass-hat Brady bitch like a 13-year-old girl.

Now they say they might move the game depending on the weather. What do you think would happen if they do that, lots of pissed off people.

Did you see the picture of all the snow in new Jersey?

Sure did and they say if the weather is going to be bad the will change the day it is held on. That will really cause problems if they try and change the day.

I say they made their bed, now they should all have to lay in it. If it snows, oh well. If it's cold, oh well. If someone hits Roger Gooddell in the back of the head with an ice ball for all the dumb ideas he continues to come up with, oh well!

Changing the day is the 2nd most stupid idea since having it in New York(Jersey) in the first place.

I think having it in a cold outdoor arena will add somethng that's been missing for years. The weather, a good old fashioned cold,
snowy football game.

Wow! Even as a diehard DENVER BRONCOS fan, I have to give that performance a A+. I admire the creativity.

If you have been anyplace other than the dark side of the moon this past two weeks, you are aware of the Super Bowl. Enjoy it. I will be watching from Denver, Colorado, home of the Broncos and my home town. Someone will win, someone will lose. The winners will all get a ring. the last I read, one came up for auction with a starting bid of $10,00.00 and the hammer fell at $52,000.00. Even at ten grand X fifty rings that's a half a million bucks.

With that drop in the bucket think about; ticket sales, cost of transportation for spectators and teams, commercial revenue, concessions, apparel, on and on ad nauseum. Hundreds of millions of dollars will be spent, generated and spun around this game.

The teams are made up of a cross section of America. There will be regular guys, good guys, bad guys, talented athletes, egocentric guys, spoiled brats, criminals and thugs. They are all paid to play this game.

Regardless of who you are rooting for, remember, it's just a game. It will not make you a better person should your team win. Regardless of the outcome, it does not give you the right to destroy property. It will do nothing to heal the sick, feed the hungry, house the homeless or care for the elderly. It is a game. Enjoy it, have a party, have fun, eat too much, if you drink too much, don't drive. Tomorrow there
will be another game.

Has anyone bothered to cut down Richard's lifeless body from the noose over the garage rafters yet?

So......... My conclusion is that the marijuana in Colorado is vastly more potent than in Washington. The Broncos played like they were stoned. While I was "frustrated" with the effort, I remain a fan. There is always next year.

GO BRONCOS!!!

The only time the Seahawk defense let up was that third quarter 2 point conversion. Cost me $100.00 on our board. I had a 6 x 6 pick.
However, I thouroughlly enjoyed the thrashing of Denver.

I seem to recall being taught that Bronco's are meant to be broken. LOL
In this game, I would have to say, the Seahawks rode the Broncos into the ground.

Who caught how the 12th Man was so loud that they caused the safety at the 12 second game mark?

I'm sure that Peyton was over that.

All in all, it was a great game, even though the Seahawks had so many penalties , it didn't seem to hurt them, where every time the Bronco's had a penalty, it hit them hard.
