Oh, gummy bears! They’re so tasty and delicious you can never eat just one. In fact most of us eat them by the handful. And with diet season in full swing, some of us may be looking at the sugar-free alternative to help ease the gummy bear cravings.

But before you hop on Amazon to make a bulk purchase of the sugar-free variety, you just might want to read the safety warnings. Or better yet, take a look at the user submitted reviews.

I thought the comment about sending a package to every member of Congress says it all.

Thank you! This is a well written PSA. I haven't laughed this hard in a long time.

Some people do have a sensitivity to sugarless sweeteners but this sounds more like intentional poisoning. HILARIOUS! LOVE the guy on the small plane.

For what it's worth: the regular Haribo Gold Bears don't produce this kind of result. They are NOT the sugarless variety and only produce happy dentists and happy kids. On the German (country of origin) packages it says "Haribo macht kinder froh." Haribo makes kids happy.

Thank God the Nazis didn't get a hold of this weapon during WWII. We'd all be goose-stepping and speaking German.

I found similar problems with a box of Russell Stover sugar free chocolates that was a gift.
