As far as I can tell, there is not one Eastern Montanan in Governor Bullock's cabinet. One cabinet member is reported to have spent part of his upbringing on the Fort Peck Reservation. Other than that, There is no one from east of Billings. Maybe I'm incorrect. Check it out for yourself on the Gov's website.
There seem to be no Eastern Montana roots in the Executive branch in Helena. This is wrong.
If, as is rumored, John Walsh leaves the Lt Governor's seat to finish Senator Baucus' term, shouldn't we Eastern Montanans set up a hue and cry to fill Walsh's vacated position with a leader from east of Billings?
We have good, solid, dedicated leaders out here behind the sage brush. Any suggestions?
