What has happened to America? When did it all change? People wake up and swallow religion and political claptrap with their bad coffee and processed food, put on their armour and walk out the door into a world that is dying before their blinded eyes. Blinded by darkness, provided by talking heads and slick magazine pages. Blinded by starlets and their anorexic, drugged, drunken, out of control existence. Blinded to our role in creating these puking, shiny Gods and Goddesses. Oh, the Gods, lets not forget our athlete Gods. Pillars of goodness and shining examples of humankind, showered with wealth and fame, all beacons for the youth of America. Gods and goddesses, forgiven for their arrogance, rape and even murder. God Damnit, we adore the very Americanism of the whole thing.

Who Killed Elvis? We did. We killed him. Oh, come let us adore him. Let us continue to lay garlands at the hallowed ground where they laid the remains of this bloated, booze infused, amphetamine infected body. Let us wonder and worry what will become of Justin, Miley and thank god that Kardashian girl lost weight after the birth of the baby. Oh, come let us adore him.

Oh does anyone know what is going on in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Angola, Africa, etc,etc. Do we know the body count? The real one, the one that counts all human life not just Americans the one that talks about women, children, you know? The ones that we don't adore, the innocents, sacrificed on the altar of Oh come let us ignore them.

Hmm, guess I woke up on the wrong side of the bed or maybe I swallowed some bad politics. I will go watch TV and pick up the new People Magazine. That will make me feel better.

Tucker, When you find yourself in a tattered suit, the cold and dark sifting into your bones and darkening your spirit, perhaps you can change the threads and see you aren't alone in this monumental manure shoveling task. There are many in Miles City and other regions who are well aware of the condition of the world, have been working lifelong to keep the candles lit and the fires stoked for weary, beaten down travelers. Sometimes, it gets to us and we need to sit in the flickering light and enjoy the Yule. Winter Solstice is upon us and that we can celebrate. Bright Blessings.
