Santorum just waits for any opportunity to prove his lack of brains, compassion and humanity.

There are those who like attention even if it's negative.

Regardless of what you think of Rick Santorum, John Kerry, your own Senators and Representatives, or any other public figure, there is a vast vocabulary of descriptive words waiting to be used without the vulgarities. Time to brush up on them!

Sunny:

I beg to differ.

Watch the video clip.

The frothy mix of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex Rick Santorum compared HIMSELF to Nelson Procreateing Mandela.

THAT LITTLE MAN compared himself to Nelson Procreateing Mandela.

He should most definitely eat a dick.

Nelson Mandela for all of South Africa, if not the world, is/was what Martin Luther King was for ALL of America despite the most rabid's worst efforts, (i.e. people like Rick Santorium and their stupidly invalid comparisons of apples and Isusus (fruit and SUV's)).

Why is it that "the land of the free" has the largest minority of hysterically-terrified, blood-thirsty, anti-freedom-ist of any Western nation? The mere fact that there is a "commercially" worthwhile audience for people like Rick Santorium say so much about the real lack of acceptance of differences and self-discipline/moderation (tolerance of real freedom) without which there is no justice or equity (as opposed to equality).

How can a thinking person be proud (patriotic) of such utter darkness?

Time for a reality check....

You guys keep ignoring history and are content to live in your Marxist fantasy world. Mandela was a terrorist who led a terrorist organization; the ANC, supported by the Communist Block. Reformed? Possibly, but a terrorist none-the-less. He cleaned up his act when he got out of the Pen and let Winnie do the ANC dirty work until it became politically expedient to put the boot to her backside. The global Marxist political machine then went to work, creating the fantasy of a "Saint Nelson" where none existed, knowing the World will ignore the ongoing economic decent of South Africa into the abyss of war, poverty, disease, despair and death that is the rest of the Continent. Sit back and watch how that accelerates, now that the side-show is gone. You will eventually have to ignore that as well.

As far as your accolades to despots, George Washington, Martin Luther King or the Tea Party were never involved in an organization who's favorite form of dealing with their (mostly black) political opposition was to light up the night by treating them to flaming Michelin "necklaces". Your comparisons of Mandela to descent Human Beings are despicable. A comparison to Pol Pot would be more appropriate.

Now, I expect I'll be invited to eat a dick as well.

You're right, Oddjob, it is time for a reality check... YOURS!

I wonder if the British ever considered George Washington a "terrorist"? When did speaking truth to power and attempting to end the oppression of millions of people, which is Mandela's legacy, become an act of terrorism? Do you believe in any cause strongly enough that you would spend 27 years in prison because of your beliefs? When you got out of prison would you continue to pursue your cause, knowing that you are a marked man?

And your notion, Oddjob, that {Marxism=completely bad} is a false equation. "Marxism builds on a materialist understanding of societal development, taking as its starting point the necessary economic activities required by human society to provide for its material needs. The form of economic organization or mode of production is understood to be the basis from which the majority of other social phenomena – including social relations, political and legal systems, morality and ideology – arise (or at the least by which they are directly influenced). These social relations form the superstructure, for which the economic system forms the base".[3]

That said, Mandela was a democratic socialist who was the first black President of South Africa and was elected in a fully representative democratic election. His administration introduced measures to encourage land reform, combat poverty, and expand healthcare services.

More to the original point of the thread, Rick Santorum's delusion that he is somehow a "freedom fighter" protecting us from the "evils of Obamacare" is anything like Mandela opposing apartheid is laughable at best. Apartheid defined is the practice of segregating people into groups. One can easily make the case that Martin Luther King's activities in this country were focused on the same kind of outcome as Mandela's were in opposing apartheid. Comparing Mandela to "decent human beings" is not despicable, unless you view history as a parishioner of Clear Channel Radio and Fox New "angry white man media", which apparently is your case.

The TRUTH is Santorum and his tea-swilling buddies are actually all in favor of and actively promoting a form of economic apartheid and a theocracy on all of us. The Affordable Care Act is the current whipping boy. THAT sir, is reality!
