Hey there MC'ers. So, I know you all apparently love your apple and pumpkin pies for thanksgiving but i was wondering if anyone knew where I can get a pecan pie?

My hubby loves them and I work tomorrow so trying to cut down on things I have to prep.

not frozen

thanks!

South Carolina had a miserable pecan harvest this year so the pies may be expensive and in short supply. That's not very helpful but all I can offer.

I won't be much helpful, either, as I live in Helena. But our local 4-H had a bake sale that ended yesterday and their pecan pies were delicious.

I believe both Reynolds and Albertson have them in their frozen pie sections.

Try Marie Calendar pies at Walmart or Reynalds in thfozen dessert section.. Better yet call Mary Catherine Dunphy. She makes an out of this world pecan pie. Iknow, I gave her my recipe, which in on the label of dark Karo syrup.

The frozen pies are not bad and you can some spice if needed.
