My daughter recently had to move from her home and was unable to find anything that would allow her to keep her dog, Annie. So Annie had to go live with a friend in the Veterans Cemetery area and go from being a couch dog to living outside on a chain in her dog house. Just 2 days into her new home, Annie slipped out of her collar and ran away. We are hoping she is trying to find her way to her old home by the golf course, but really have no idea what direction she may have taken.
Annie is a mixed-breed female, about 3 years old, and VERY large (she can walk up to my kitchen counter and rest her chin on it). She's mostly black with a tan mask, chest and legs. She looks like she could be mean but she is not--she's a big chicken! She has very bad hips and we worry that between the cold and her running, she may be in a lot of pain and would be limping badly.
We have followed the proper steps in our search (we referred to the post on how to find a lost pet) but she's been missing for 3 days now and the weather is getting colder. Yes, she's a dog with a fur coat, but she isn't accustomed to being exposed to the elements.
Any information of Annie's whereabouts would be very much appreciated. Please reply here or call Sandra at 853-0496.
