Parenting Class - November 2nd
Posted by cs (+196) 8 years ago
Parenting behaviors are intensely personal interaction between individuals and families that are scrutinized by institutions of religion, education, law, and even our own families of origin. As a parent you may experience responsibility for the success, failure, and emotional as well as physical well being of another individual whose thoughts and feelings you cannot comprehend. This overwhelming responsibility rarely comes with instruction and insight into how to best do the job. No matter what your experience in life this is one role that can show all of us our best and worst personal moments. Equine interactive learning can take parenting education out of the classroom and into the arena of living, breathing, feeling, and sometimes frustrating animals. They help facilitate an understanding of ourselves in a parenting role by accepting, challenging, and teaching us about our own interactive selves. The interactions allow insight and learning about how individuals handle the down and dirty job of becoming the best parent they can be.
No matter how old your children are and no matter the circumstance, you will find this experience very powerful. Come join us and begin your journey!
