The other day, while watching the Daily Show, Jon Stewart introduced David Mitchell who was promoting a book that he and KA Yoshida had translated into English.

The name of the book: "The Reason I Jump": The Inner voice of a 13 Year Old Boy With Autism. Author: Naoki Higashida

I immediately downloaded it onto my Kindle...and, being only 176 pages, was able to breeze through it and find that if you have..work with..know..or, deal with someone with Autism in one way or another...it will be the most important book you will ever read. I had to order it in hard copy as you will want it for a reference.

The knowledge will ease things so much for Teachers and Paras...and, amazing what the knowledge will do for parents. I have read many books and attended quite a few seminars concerning autism as my Grandson has autism...lots of it has helped...but, these are things we really need to know to make our lives easier.

I have contacted people affiliated with educating our kids and also those who work with them as they are the ones I worry about. It is not an easy task when you do not know what is going on. Well...here is a chance to find out what is going on? By the way...it has jumped to number one on the Best Seller list in just a couple of days. It is so helpful. Our Library is "on it". They are wonderful.

Thank you for reminding me to order this, Jeri! I had planned on it after watching that interview on The Daily Show, and then forgot all about it. Can't wait to read it!
