Any amusement parks near?

I'm looking for an amusement park to go to this summer and was wondering if anyone knows of any near or at least closer than Silverwood in Sand Point ID. Thanks!

6 flags in Denver might be a good bet. Only about 8 hrs from Miles City.

The Montana State Fair starts this weekend in Great Falls and it has a Midway full of rides.

If you are looking for water parks, the Splash one in Missoula is very popular.

Silverwood, near Coeur D'Alene ID is a very nice park with an adjacent waterpark. (And, it's a much prettier drive to get there than Denver!) They have two wooden coasters that are among the best ever.

Elitch Gardens will never be the same after they moved from 38th and Tennyson over to the S.Platte River valley near downtown.
I tried to visit the new park once......I got so disgusted I left.

Lakeside is downright scary.......old and not well kept.
at 44th and Sheridan.....the rides are not-on-purpose scary.

Heritage Square is a nice place....but hardly a kid friendly amusement park. the dinner theater is fun, and sometimes the car shows held there are really good.

as a boy I visited the parks often....in fact my father sold the land to the individual who started up Heritage Square way back when.

We so much miss living near enough to Silverwood to drive there in a day, spend all day, and back home again! Love that place, and it is an option, we were just hoping we'd find a closer option.

We used to live in Stevensville, so we did go to Splash MT quite a bit. Miss it too!

I suppose shooting the flumes and diving off the train bridge at Paragon Pits don't count.
