And your relationship to her is what?

I do believe the phrase ~ my mother-in-law elva ~ should answer that.

I meant do you have a good relationship with her? Will she listen to you and take your assistance? Often people being abused will protect the abuser which makes it difficult to change anything.

Is there a neighbor or other family member who can or will go over and look in on her? It might help if you have someone else to back you up on what you are seeing. Have you checked with County Health to see if they can go there to look in on her or take care of her needs? (I don't know her age or situation so she may not be eligible). If they do go, they can assess things. Please don't give up if you think she's being abused or mistreated in anyway. Sometimes the wheels turn slowly but if you've reported this, then I'd like to think that APS is looking into it.
