Hello! Does anyone know a a hang out spot in Miles City? I am not into the bars and Casinos. Looking for someone to take walks with, chat over coffee and/or explore Montana with.

Walmart? That seems to be where most people meet and talk! I would suggest joinging a group of some kind, depending on your preferences. Volunteer with an organization. Church?

There are lots of social, civil and service groups in town. Woman's Club? AAUW? Rotary? Kiwanis? Garden Club? Barn Players? Hang at the Library and introduce yourself.

I would invite you to join us at the Valley Community Church on Sundays. Sunday School for grown-ups and children at 9am, Worship Service at 10am. I am not currently a member but I'm soon to be. I like these folks! Also if you are musically inclined the music team has openiings. Jim

If you are athletically inclined, join the Centra. That's the gym at the community college. They have all sorts of groups out there.

Main Street Grind is a social spot also.
Has good coffee and baked goods also.

Welcome! I like Cafe Utza and the health food store behind the star printing on main street. There are a lot of classes both at the centra and at the collage open to the community, most are between $25-$50 for a 6 to 8 week class. The parks, one on the end of main street (oasis) and one across from the V.A. building, will get busy soon. I think Main Street in general has always been a big hang out,"walking main" is actually considered something to do by some people. I hope you find your group, best wishes

Thank you all for your helpful hints. I am going to look into the woman's club and the college, Centra. I will need to try out these coffee spots in town also.

The best way to feel better about yourself is by going to Wal-Mart and look at other shoppers!!

I like the new gym on main st... door 804... met a lot of nice people there the past 4 months!

we r always looking for volunteers at the eagles manor during coffee break in the afternoon one or two times a month. if u can sing dance or know some fun great easy activities the Residents could enjoy.

The Miles City Jaycees (Junior Chamber of Commerce) is having a casual meet n' greet this Friday at the Cellar lounge, on Main street, 5:30 to 8pm. We will have light appetizers and absolutely no pressure to join our chapter. Come meet our non-profit group, our State President from Billings and anyone else who may stopping by or hanging out at the Cellar!
