Last year Elvis and another bar patron was given the Russian roulette treatment at a local bar, and then cop cars were shot at when they arrived. I've seen the suspect walking around town, have not heard much as far as the proceeding going forward. Did the city fathers sweep this?

Elvis... or at least the guy mentioned who impersonates... was fortunate that the gun did not fire (TWICE!) when the suspect pulled the trigger.

I am curious... where did you get the source or information concerning that the cops were fired upon when they arrived? I don't remember that fact, or is it something you are assuming or someone else told you after telling others after hearing what happened from somebody that wasn't there but their source was from someone who was?.. but maybe not?

Curious... because most likely, if the cops were shot at, then you most likely would not see the perp "walking around town"

I'd say the Miles City Police used admirable restraint in not shooting him.

"A Miles City man is facing accusations that he tried to kill two people during a weekend incident in which police say a gun malfunctioned twice when he tried to shoot two people before firing in the direction of a police officer.

...

A person at the VFW called the police. Prell said that when officers arrived, they watched Larson shoot at a parked vehicle.

He then shot a police car with an officer standing next to it, according to the court documents.

After negotiating with Larson for about 40 minutes, officers were able to get close enough to use a stun gun on him and take him into custody."

I sleep with the guy whose patrol car was fired upon, and who talked the person out of his weapon without firing his own (or his tazer). He is a pretty neat guy; someone even gave him a nice write-up in the Letters section of the MC Star. My understanding is that cases like this can take a long time.

Glad you shared who you are sleeping with. Does his pistol ever misfire in bed? Or is it a handgun.

Al, Steve, SD, Sybil, whomever you claim to be today, I hate to give you the satisfaction of a reply, yet I can't help myself:

I have been happily bedding down with him for the past twenty years, as his wife.

I suppose some would say he has misfired a few times: we have four kids.
