M&H worker
Posted by Lennice N. Chamberlain (+963) 10 years ago
Am I the only one who thinks Niel that works nights at M&H goes way to far with things? I think he should get help or be terminated from his job, I had a very bad run in with him about counting money out to him. I don't know if he can't count or what his problem is but it got so bad he was going to call the cops. REALLY? I stood my ground and told him I would like him to call the cops. Then he told me to get out like he was kicking me out.

If you have had a bad run in with him would you please post here so who ever is in charge at M&H can actually see how he has been and hopefully get him some help or terminated. I will no longer go to M&H while he is working.

I believe contacting management directly is better than public shaming.

I used to think that Miles City was full of horrible businesses who hired employee's with bad attitudes who didnt know how to treat customers.

Turns out it was just me..........

One might in Billings, we all went to the theater and the guy selling tickets asked me to please count out the money I gave him, and hand it to home one bill at a time in ascending order.
I was like..."Uh....No....it's right here take it or not"

Then his boss came over and very quietly whispered in my ear.......
" He's blind "

Oh poop I felt bad,

That particular employee has been nothing but friendly when I have been there. Its not right to publicly bad mouth an individual and say he or she needs fired when all people are doing are trying to make an honest living. If you have that big of a problem with it find a different gas station.

Yeah that would be bad, I don't think that was this guys problem though. putting this out is my way to inform anyone of my experience and if there are others who may have had an unpleasn't experience can release some frustration by sharing them here.

I dont know. Some times people's take on a situation is unfair. I saw someone complaining about this guy on facebook. She was mad because he had always taken her paper id before to buy cigarettes and now he wasn't taking it. Did she ever stop to think maybe her paper id never should have been taken in the first place and she had gotten by with some thing this whole time? Maybe it's company policy to not take them especially if its been a long time and the paper one hasn't been replaced by a permanent id. Did she bother to check before getting pissed off at the guy and ranting publicly. I agree with the others. Should be talked to management about not talked about publicly. Maybe there is a reason.

I don't think anyone deserves to be bad mouthed this way... As adults we should know who to go and voice our opinions to.
However, doing it this way must make you the better person!

I think the level of service should be reflected in the quality and price of the items. That's why I expect to be verbally abused when I shop at Walmart.

When I worked at a local drug store, I would always base my level of service on the current pricing of the items. Since we usually priced things well over sale margins, I would make sure to "go the extra mile" in satisfying the customer. Once when I sold a stereo system to a shopper at a ridiculously inflated price, I brought it to the customer's home, installed it, tuned it, and purchased the first 8 track tape to play on it. (dates it, doesn't it?)

Once we had a stereo unit that had been in the store for a couple of years and a customer finally bought it at a grossly reduced price below cost. I tossed it into a box, threw it out the door, made sure to NOT thank the customer and added a little snarl, just for effect.

So you see, you get what you pay for! Maybe there's just a sale going on right now at M&H. You want service with a smile? Drop a couple of dead presidents on the counter and watch as you get the royal treatment.

Enjoy!

FH

Who's running this site? And why does he/she allow posts like this? Why not delete the post and ban the user?

I too have had a bad experience with Niel prior to Dave being hired. My soon to be wife and I arrived at M&H to gas up 2 diffrent vehicles she gased up, went in and rounded up drinks to stock our cooler with for the trip we were about to leave on. I was finishing gasing up our 1 ton pickup truck so she left the drinks and snacks on the counter next to the window and came outside to sit with the kids while I went inside to pay. I finished gasing up was walking to the door to come get the stuff and pay for everything at ounce and he came out yelling some pretty obsciene stuff that I will not repeat on the internet, said accused her of trying to steal her gas and leaving a "big f-ing mess" on the counter for him to put away, wich was actually 2 sodas and a couple of bug juices and candy bars for the children that were now witness to this vulgar act. She did not even have her keys in ignition and could not have pulled out in the car if she wanted to as my truck wih trailer was on one side of her and another car was behind her. I tried to explain politely to niel that he was wrong yet to this day he still makes comments to the effect that he cant believe I payed for that beepity beeps gas and sodas so that he wouldnt call the cops on her and that if we were really a couple (wich we have been for some time and are engaged to be married) he would see us together. Fact of the matter is she wont go in there anymore because of it and I only go in there now because I go north at 4am frequently for work and its on the way out of town and open.

I think EVERYONE should have their performance reviews done via a public internet forum.

And people call me a jerk.

Someone should show Neil this. Maybe his tune would change. Or he'd start yelling at the computer and calling it witch craft.

Why show Neil this thread? Milescity.com is full of sour pusses.

A far more accurate measure of customer satisfaction is the yelp site. Click on Frank's link for a Fair and Balanced report on M&H customer service.

i like neil he never dose me wrong. ya you will hear him and i bitch about stuff. and i get kicked out all the time. but its him and i messing around. i personally enjoy he attitude its not fake he is real. hes a good cat. i guess if you don't have the humor we do and cant brush stuff off easily then i could see him coming off mean. but he is actually a nice guy. i got to know neil by coming back and telling him to procreate off and poop but then we made friends and we have been kosher i could talk to that old guy forever. but putting him on blast is not fair. and trying to get him to loose his job is not eathir. why not talk to neil and he will understand dont come off mean just come off as a person and you will have enjoyable visits for the time he is there.
