My thoughts and prayers go out to the Wilson family. Prayers are needed for Dave hope he pulls through. Never a good time especially around the holidays.

Are you saying RIP to the same Wendy who posted at 11:10 on the Curiosity Rover thread - 10 minutes before you posted this?

Dare I ask?

It's just human curiosity, under any circumstances it is a terrible loss for all who loved her and needed her. My sincere condolences to the family.

The funeral for Wendy will be this Friday in Memphis. David was to be discharged from the hospital yesterday. A memorial service and internment will take place in Miles City once David is able to travel and he and Hailey can make the trip.

Germantown

Wife killed, husband injured in crash

A 35-year-old woman died Saturday morning in a car accident in Germantown that also left her husband hospitalized for several days.

Around 4:10 a.m., Germantown police and fire department personnel were called to the scene of an accident on Cross Village Drive near Dunedin Cove, where a 2008 GMC pickup truck had struck a tree.

The driver, David Wilson, 38, and his wife, Wendy Wilson, were trapped inside the truck, according to police.

Both were removed from the vehicle and transported to area hospitals. Wendy was taken to the Regional Medical Center at Memphis, where she died about an hour later. David was taken to Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital and was released Tuesday.

The couple lived on Cross Ridge Drive, according to Shelby County property assessor records.

Police are still investigating the crash, said city spokeswoman Stacey Ewell, and no charges have been filed.
