I am needing to get my dog nuetered and was wondering if anyone in the miles city area knew about how much that would be for a 35 pound dog? It's $160 where i live was just trying to find out if it would be less expensive to come there and do it. Thank you

Kacey, we know you hate East Main with a white hot passion but could you just leave it alone for a second. Please.

Your dog would receive very good care at East Main. Dr. Lindley even took my daughter's dog home with her to keep an eye on him once after surgery.

Kacey,
I know the folks at East Main Animal Clinic very well and you are off base. You are dangerously close to being sued for libel, as you are disrupting their business with a personal, unfounded, vendetta. As someone who suffers from mental illness, I'd suggest you see a shrink about your obsession(s).

Edit:
When I say being close to sued, it is not that I've spoken to them. It is just what I'd do.

thank you ellie may, was just trying to get some prices for now as i do think that 160.00 is a little much. i know that all states and vets are different but in texas is was 50 bucks so was just trying to find a better price then the 160.00. i did call east main but the gal that answered the phone was rather snippy and seemed bothered that I called just to ask a general price instead of making an appointment. Not saying that i wouldn't go there but i would like my vet and their staff to be friendly and that kind of turned me off.

Probably shouldn't judge the entire East Main on the voice of someone probably a receptionist answering the phone as I know they are really busy and maybe this person was having a bad day as we all have had...I know that they have saved the lives of many dogs, etc. that they try to get adopted and we personally have adopted several from them...we tried to get the ones that noone else wanted...anyway, it is up to you but I again highly recommend them...

i think they are all great. however, due to cost i went with mc vet when i got here and they ahve been wonderful. doc ryan is amazing. saved my dog froms eptic shock, built my other dog a new ligament so he can still enjoy life...the rest of the staff there is great too. i have stayed with them now for over 5 years...never a problem even in the middle of the night for emergencies.

not judging however i do feel even if you are having a bad day and work in the public you do need to be pleasant

Wow, I find it really hard to believe that someone, who works for an organization that deals with emergencies, would sound less than pleasant on the phone. Maybe that tone wasn't annoyance with the caller, but was concern for something urgent that was happening in the office?

Being "pleasant" is relative.... one persons "pleasant" is another's "professional broom-rider".

I have no experience with East Main but I have worked with MC Vet for dogs, cats, cows, and horses and do so on a regular basis and I have nothing bad to say about them. Everybody there is professional, friendly, and the prices are very fair. You won't be disappointed.

Both vets are good. Only one does large animal. Other than that, you're safe with either one.

wasn't trying to start a arguement about the two vets was just asking for a general price since one was able to give me that price and the other wasn't then that is who i will be going with and judging from what you all say mc vet is pretty darn good, i don't doubt east main but like i said they couldn't answer my question and even if they were busy they could have put me on hold or asked me to call back instead of being rude about it. enough said.

I believe there are vouchers available from a non profit organization in town to help with the expense. Either vet should have info on this.

LOVE all the Doc's at Miles City Vet (and the help)! Cannot go wrong with them, GREAT care and not as expensive as East Main.
In saying this, I have never heard a bad word about Dr. Lindley and her crew...and she does take in and work very hard to get animals homes...thus, probably the higher prices.
