She was in the Bush era in Florida as you probably remember and had directives from Jeb...in memo, unfortunately. I have seen some pages from her list and if you had "Bla" after your name...or, "Hisp"...you were pretty apt to get crossed off the list. I love the book I just read "Billionaires, Ballots and Bandits and, the 9 easy steps you can make to steal an election". Amazing. Desperation sure can ignite some creative things. Did you watch "Frontline" last night? Wow..that was and is creative. I can see why a major Television provider blacked out PBS in our major cities. That will be interesting too. Ah...but, soon it will be overwith for a day or two:-)

Have you run across anymore Norwegian books?

Michel Moore is the prophet of our times. Go on Amazon and look for his books and DVDs. Also I don't have any Norwegian books but I do have one called Scandinavian Humor and Other Myths.

I think I have that one, Betty. Some unusual myths:-) I especially love Michael Moore's book about his life. A laugh a minute. Loved it that he was on the school board at a very young age...much to their despair.

I just read in the Gazette where Denver,CO has people who have voted for both presidential candidates...thus, invalidating their ballots. Yep...that's how it works!!! Mr. Ron Weil, election worker, has seen HUNDREDS of early voter ballots that have multiple votes for the 16 candidates listed on the ballot. Alton Dillard said that 2.5 percent of 80,000 early ballots were rejected and had to be DUPLICATED by election workers because of problems including overvoting as well as ballot damage. So far, 2.5% of 80,000 voters rejected.

Two things..you need Investigative Reporter, Greg Palast, author of Billionaires and Ballot Bandits to check this out...AND...that group of elderly folks in Michael Moore's video.

It doesn't matter who sponsored this ad, nor which political party it is supposed to support, the language is uncalled for and out of order!!

I already voted. I don't know how they could have voted twice. You only get one ballot and you sign your name toon the outside envelope. The ballot goes into a sleeve to make it secret and will be counted on election day.

Believe me...it is not difficult when you are into voter suppression. The old folks were pretty graphic...but, their point is right on. Today, one of our Supreme Court Candidates is in the newspaper defending her opponent from the filthy lies that the ATP is circulating about him. That's when it is so rotten. Not good to be gullible anymore:-)

Aside from the language issue, the ad is just stupid. No old people talk that way. (I think it's a pretty fair bet that no 80-year-old white lady in this country has ever used the word "muthaprocreatea.") Thus, it's obviously scripted and just done for the "shock value."

Looks like something that would come out of SNL or The Onion. Wait, it's not funny enough for The Onion.

You are probably correct about the language...but, voter suppression is real and it is happening. Kind of a "wake-up" video.

I don't like this, not fond of Micheal Moore, but compared to Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, Ann Coulter, O Reily and the rest of the right wing talking heads. Moore doesn't seem so bad. At least no out and out lies from him.

OF COURSE IT WAS SCRIPTED YOU DUMBARSE! Ever hear of comedy? There's a point to this add that you either don't get(and I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't) or you're making a lame attempt at discrediting the add's message. I hope for your sake its the latter.

Do you think all of the adds for "your side" are unscripted. How about those creepy twins in the Rehberg adds? Do you think they're scripted?

So who supresses us voters?

Voters are being suppressed in Florida, Pennsylvania and else where. The people who turned out for early voting has had to standin line for four hours on saturday and then another four hour wait once they got in the door.

Who are supressing the voter? It's the republican governors and the Republican, secretaries of state. This is the residue of the Voter act passed under the Bush administration.
