Open Apology to the Raiders Fans and Coaches
Posted by Marcy (+590) 11 years ago
I would like to apologize to the coaches and players and fans for last nights game between the 49ers and the Raiders. It was not my intention to 'run-up' the score. I got caught up in the moments of the game trying to work on plays that we had just instituted that week. I truly respect the game of little-guy football and want to keep the focus on the kids where it needs to be. More caution will be displayed in the coming weeks. Again, please accept my sincere apology as I meant no intentional disrespect!

Thank,

Jeremy

I say they're just kids, don't take things so seriously. Let them enjoy themselves.

I can still see the look on the face of my son and all the other YOUNG boys as you threw an absolute fit( almost causing a fist fight) last year. You felt the team you were playing and ultimately lost to was running up the score! Everyone else around there was wondering why a grown man was throwing such a fit, when the kids are suppose to be having fun. You are a poor example as a coach, and I can only imagine that somewhere along the way your football career was short and unimpressive!

You tell 'em, PDP.

There is no room for a-holes coaching our children. Their precious minds do not need to be molded by these guys...next thing you know, its Jerry Sandusky all over again!

Running up the score. A Miles City Sports Tradition! Leave those starters in! Don't let the scrubs play!

Don't let the scrubs play!

Miles City does not have scrubs in my opinion. We have 2nd and 3rd team players. Any player willing to join a team, do the practices and either play the game or sit on the benches is far ahead of all of us that sit in the stands.

To call them scrubs is very disrespectful of the players, Miles City's Children...

WIN, LOOSE, or DRAW... They are all winners in my book. Please feel free to treat them like that.

I like drawing. I love winning. I hate loosening. It always ends up with me singing "pants on the ground".

I've often felt adults shouldn't be allowed in children's sports.
