When will we learn that any nation that wants to survive does so only by the aggressive use of force?

The "Damascus diva" has done a lot of damage in the last two days. I am getting sick of her party acting as though they have a mandate on which they did not campaign. Last Oct-Nov every democrat was acting conservative (and if I can mix threads, populist). Now they are busy securing our defeat and demise abroad, and raising taxes domestically.

Too bad it takes so much money to run for president.

IOKIYAR

Please feel free to site examples, but I'm guessing they won't look anything quite like this:

As you can see, even some on the left aren't so happy. Can't say I blame them. The whole hijab thing might be a little tough to reconcile with the ERA crowd. Whatever boots you need to lick in the name of peace though I guess. That's what Chamberlain always said.

Priceless photos though, really.

Wow, Nancy Pelosi made peace in the middle east on her first try. That's awesome.

Is Niiiice.

I never thought of the Laura Bush angle. Well done.

It's ok though, Nancy's off to Iran now to settle the whole nuclear thing. I'm guessing she'll offer some new offer of peace that meets Ahmadinejad halfway, only requiring half of the Jews in Isreal to march themselves into the Mediterranean.

At least then Hillary will still have the other half to use as chips in the next round.

What about the 3 Republican representatives who went with Ms. Pelosi? Do we tar and feather the Republican Party? Or maybe the Bush administration is playing politics? You guys are buying into it hook line and sinker.

Pluto: What is "it" that we are buying into.

Yes, we should tar and feather everyone who went with the Damascus diva. She is not the Secretary of State. She has clearly violated the Logan Act of 1799 and should be prosecuted along with anyone in her entourage.

This is without a doubt the most awesome thread ever. Crack another Coors and turn up the Lee Greenwood - it's only going to get better.

That horrible excuse for a woman! Actually having a dialogue with our enemies? She must not only be prosecuted, but probably needs to be shot on sight. If we continue to threaten Syria, maybe we will get lucky enough to send a few thousand American troops over to another desert to die. This administration is hell bent on war, trumped up, invented, whatever you may choose to call it. But the last thing we can do is talk with people who disagree with our way of life? If the current administration is unwilling to initiate talks with Syria, the end game is inevitable. Ms Pelosi should be given an award. She is actually telling the world that we are not all freaking nuts. That some of us are actually willing to talk. Go ahead, bring her up on charges. But until we are willing to TRY diplomacy, the list of dead American soldiers will start to look like a big city phone book. Just because we have the most capable armed forces on the planet, do we need to use them to crush every nation with opposing views? Lets head to France next. Maybe we should crush them for their pacifist views? Then Canada? Ann Coulter thinks that they should consider themselves lucky that we "allow them to live on our continent" Kill em all! And kill em now! Give me a freaking break!

Bridgier....I prefer "Old Style" beer with my Lee Greenwood. It reminds me of Texas...which reminds me of kicking ass...which reminds me of Dick Cheney....which reminds me of Wyoming.....which reminds me of Brokeback Mountain.....which reminds me of Republican posts on this forum.
