5K/10K WALK/RUN TO BE HELD OCT 14 FOR MONTANA FOOD BANK NETWORK
"Hoofin' it for Hunger" event sponsored by Custer-Fallon Farm Bureau

Miles City, MT - September 13, 2012 - A 5-kilometer, 10-kilometer, and 1 mile fun walk/run will be held in Miles City at Fort Keogh, Sunday, October 14, with proceeds benefiting Montana Food Bank Network. "Hoofin' it for Hunger" is being organized by the Custer-Fallon County Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers and USDA-ARS Fort Keogh LARRL.

The "Hoofin' it for Hunger" event will kick-off at 8:00 am, Sunday, October 14 at Fort Keogh, 243 Fort Keogh Road, with a one-mile fun walk/run. The big event, the 5K / 10K race, will start at 9:30 am.

Registration forms can be picked up at the Mil es City Chamber of Commerce or at Holy Rosary Healthcare or participants can register online at www.mfbf.org. Registration begins at 8:00 am at Fort Keogh. Pre-race registration is $25 and guarantees you'll receive a creative Hoofin' It for Hunger T-shirt. Same-day registration is $30. The event is ope n to the public, so be sure to invite friends and colleagues to come out for this enjoyable, worthwhile event.

We will also have electronic timing...and the one mile is for everyone, bring the kids and family, and support a great cause. The entry fee for the one mile is a can of food for the foodbank! This will be taken directly to the Miles City Food bank.

There will also be another event in conjunction with the Montana Farm Bureau's annual meeting, if you run in the Miles City race, you may enter for the Billings race at a discounted price of $15
