How cold did it get in town last night?

Yesterday afternoon the forcast said it was supposed too get down to 41 degrees last night. This morning I go outside and my cucumber, yellow squash and zucchini plants have frost damaged leaves! The past week it has been saying 41 for the low as well and my plants have been fine. So just curious how cold did it actually get?

It was 25 out at Knowlton when I got up this morning. It must not have been quite as cold over at my Mom's place because only a couple of her squash vines froze but I think you'll want to cover everything tonight, it's supposed to be quite a bit colder than last night.

I put 2 big tarps and 9 blankets out in Mom's garden and only managed to cover about 60% of her epic squash and pumpkin jungle. Hopefully some of it will survive since a lot of the squash need another week or two to grow.

Sorry to hear about the pumpkin patch. Several ladies at Range Riders Reps mentioned frost but everything sensitive sits next to my heat sink of a house so no problems here.
