My wife and I were speculating this morning that this guy probably shot himself as a publicity stunt....that he's writing a book called "The Kindness of Strangers", and he gets shot by a stranger....too much coincidences to be believable.

That was my first thought as well. Get some news coverage and spice up the story a bit.

Poor bastard that ended up with a DUI deserves to shoot him.
