Thanks for posting this article. It clearly shows why the Texans have written Thomas Jefferson incorrectly in the history books they produce. They want to erase his feelings on religion from history.

Back in 1960, Americans were terrified of being subject to the Pope. Now many Americans, including the southern evangelicals who prayed for JFK's death, are begging to be subject to the Pope. Weird. Just plain weird.

When I mention to people that 'under God' was not included in the Pledge of Allegiance until 1952, most don't believe it. Great article.
