Annual General Meeting
Miles City Youth Soccer's Annual General Meeting will take place February 16 at 5:30 p.m. at MCC Room 107. If you like the direction MCYSA is headed or if you have suggestions on how to improve the club, please attend! Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. Reports and elections will take place for President, Vice President, Secretary and Board Members.
2012 Note from the President
I am looking forward to another great year of soccer for Miles City and with the talent these kids have and the determination it should be amazing!
I want to thank the many volunteers, coaches, board members and referees who donated their time, abilities, and skills to create this opportunity for our kids. It is amazing how much time is donated to MCYSA so that each kid can learn the sport of soccer and have an opportunity to share in the fun of the sport with their friends. Can you believe that last year, 213 children participated in our program at the recreational level and 73 youth participated at the competitive level?
Congratulations to our U18 boys who took second in State last year! This kind of talent is what is putting Miles City on the map and we would like to continue to see these kinds of results. So, volunteer, recruit more kids, and please consider making a commitment to this wonderful organization!

Micro Team Registration
Registration for the 2012 micro soccer teams will be held February 20th & 21th at Universal Athletic Service from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. This is a limited travel recreational league with the Billings Micro Magic League. Divisions this year are U10 and U12 for boys and girls. Miles City will field teams based on player signups and coaches. The fee is $75 and is open to players born between August 1, 2001 and July 31, 2003 for U10 division and August 1, 1999 and July 31, 2001 for U12 division. Games are played in Billings and Miles City. Registration is limited to thirteen players per team. There may be more than one team per division if coaches can be found. The micro teams will participate in the Magic City Classic Tournament in Billings on May 5th and 6th.
Recreational League Registration
Registration for the 2012 spring recreational league will be held February 20th & 21st at Universal Athletic Service from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. The fee is $50 and is open to all youth born between August 1, 1999 and July 31, 2006. Teams and age groups will be dependent on the number of coaches and assistant coaches available for each age group. Practices will begin the week of March 12th with games starting March 17th and finishing with Super Soccer Saturday on May 5th.
With our growing soccer program, coaches are needed for all age levels. If you have ever considered coaching or assistant coaching, now is the time to get involved. In order for our program to maintain, coaches are desperately needed. The low number of coaches impacts the children by increasing the size of the teams, which means less playing time for your child. Coaching clinics are available and we can pair you with more experienced coaches.
Referees are desperately needed at all levels. We have a shortage of referees and are currently training all new and experienced referees. If you have ever considered refereeing, now is the time to get involved.
Ben will be providing full referee certification this spring. More details to follow. If you are interested, call Ben at 234-6940.
Challenger British Soccer Camp
Soccer camp this past summer was another huge success. It was a top notch camp and the coaches were amazing! This year's camp is scheduled for July 30th - August 3rd, 2012. If you sign up online earlier you get a free jersey in addition to the ball and T-shirt at camp. The cost of the camp is $78.00 for a half day or $138.00 for a full day.
