New York Giants 24 Patriots 16

Patriots 42, Giants 21 but mostly I predict I will eat a lot of food, drink some beer, and hopefully win on a couple of betting boards

p.s. It pains me to have to cheer for the Pats, but I dislike Eeyore and Old Man Coughlin even more so it is what it is. I just hope the commercials are good!

Giants 28
Patriots 21

I could be wrong because you can never rule out a team with Brady and Belichek, but I think not only are the Giants a better team than the Pats on both sides of the ball, but that both of the teams that they beat to get to the Superbowl (49ers and Packers) are better than the Pats.

Giants 28-17

I predict I will make a number of ill-advised prop bets, none of which will hit. I usually have a cute girl help me with the coin flip prop...already have one picked out for this year.

The patriots. #52, Dane Fletcher aka 'fletchballs' from Bozeman, Mt. Old pal and former t-ball teammate. Very proud of him and I hope they win! Not to mention that he wears the same number on his jersey as the greatest bobcat of all time, my wonderful and amazing grandfather, Sonny Holland.

Giants 27, Patriots 24.

Then the Philadelphia Eagles will be the only team in the NFL who beat the Super Bowl champions twice this season,

I predict I will smoke some killer ribs for the big game.

I predict I will come in second place in the Super Saturday Ice Fishing Chili Cookoff the preceding day.

If only you could work perch into the recipe...

The score will look closer than the game. D wins championships (dropping punts loses them - should have been the 9ers). Giants in a snoozer.

*I swear I never tweeted Kyle Williams any death threats. Who knew anyone would ever miss Ted Ginn Jr.?

There was a brief piece on NPR this morning on a dolphin that correctly picked Patriots vs Giants but then picked Miami to win the big game. I suspect a bit of home town pride effecting his decision.

My wife and I placed two pieces of paper on the floor. We wrote "Giants" on one and "Patriots" on the other. We then placed identical dog treats on each piece of paper. Francis, our schnauzer, who was crazily enthusiastic about getting some of her cookies, was released. She chose the Patriots.

To rule out any statistical chance of randomness, we repeated the test with the papers on oppisite sides. Francis again chose the Patriots.

Thus spake science.

Being a Cat fan, I'd like to see Fletcher do well. Might make a great recruiting tool. Sadly, if the Pats win, so does Bellycheck and Brady.

Pats 24 Giants 17 in a sloppy game.

Pats 37 Giants 17. The Pats weak D is a flawed stat. They gave up a huge percentage of the yards and points against them late in games that they already had well in hand. And I am not betting against Tom Brady. When the Giants beat the Pats in the Super Bowl a few years ago, the Pats offense had nothing to do with that loss. They scored plenty enough points to win that game. It took divine intervention for them to lose that game. Twice on one play. I don't see that happening again. And, being the Cowboys fan that I am, if the Giants were playing Al Queada this weekend, I would be wearing a turban while watching the game.

The network will be on pins and needles to make sure there are no wardrobe malfunctions during Madonna's halftime show!

The Black Eyed Peas last year was the first time they have allowed a woman on the super bowl stage since Janet Jackson. It was a who's-who of geriatric male rock bands in between. I guess since Fergie kept her shirt on they're willing to risk the possibility of a boob appearing on stage again, although Madonna is over 50 which probably reduces the chances of her wardrobe malfunctioning.

I saw an interview with Madonna and she said "no nips". She did say that she did have some "surprises". I think she is going to have surprise guest appearing with her. ????

Giants 27, Patriots 24.

As many of you long time posters may recall, I have stated here many times that this football procrostinator is seldom wrong.

Okay, he was wrong this time.....but close enough to give Giselle cause to worry.

Great game.

Very good game. Wonder what would have happened if the pats receivers had not dropped two balls on their last drive. I had picked the Giants and wanted them to win but I still felt bad for Brady when his receivers dropped the ball on back to back plays.

Had the right side, gave away most of the winnings on prop bets. Oh well, it was an entertaining game anyway.

Gunnar,

The Eagles didn't beat them twice the Giants won the first game and the Eagles won the second. The team that beat them twice was the Skins.
