Where referring to Government-Subsidized Housing as a 'Project' will get you called a Biggot. ROFL. Wikipedia it guys, if nothing else! Or graduate from H.S., either way.

Your ignorance of local history is showing. If memory serves me correctly Kinsey and Buffalo Rapids both were referred to as "projects". They were irrigation projects. Your "one-size-fits-all" characterization is flawed.

Amorette, for someone who lives for being politically correct, ill take that as a compliment, also. Maybe an apology, too. Hahahaha

The Urban Dictionary doesn't have many nice things to say about the term, "the projects":

http://www.urbandictionar...m=projects

"My name is Ashley Wesen. I was born in 1987. I currently live in Miles City, Montana. Before that, I lived in Bozeman, MT from 1987 to 2005. Before that, I lived in Miles City, MT from 2010 to 2010. I attended Bozeman High School in Bozeman, MT and I graduated Class of 2005."

http://www.mylife.com/ashleywesen

You left out the part about how superior you are.

You are correct, Richard, there are several types of Government-funded Projects. The most common type being housing subsidys- also the only ones referred to as simply 'Projects' by the Government and public alike.

bigot subsidies
Poor spelling makes a message lose its effectiveness especially when espousing one's brilliance.

Just a little tip, Dave- looking things up on Urban Dictionary wont help you learn ANYTHING.

This thread needs more i-word.

If I'm not mistaken, the Biggots lived a couple of holes down from Bilbo in Bag-end - before Sauramon turned into a project....

The subject of your thread is "Miles City, Montana". The local context of a "project" refers to irrigation projects, NOT a housing subsidies.

When were the Kinsey and Buffalo Rapids Projects undertaken? I believe it was 2008 that the newest Housing Project in Miles City was opened.

My g-d woman, my guess is that your mamma had her ass "projected" into the air by the bucking bull in Little Johns one too many times...

I just wanted a little backing as to my confusion and irritation over being dubbed a bigot. (Was it right that time, Mrs. M?) Am I suprised that this has turned into a splitting-hairs debate over the "real" meaning of the term "Project"? No. Anywhere else and I swear this wouldn't happen. Hilarious.

They were not "subsidized" or "low-income" photos from the "hood". When in Rome do as the Romans.

Not that I enjoy inserting myself into this stuff, but I have to.

You can form more than one sentence from your cell phone. How does one know this? Well, I'm assuming you are on a smart phone (Wouldn't work otherwise), so you have the "enter" or "return" button on the keyboard. If you press this magical button...

Your sentences will space out from each other. Amazing, isn't it?

I guess any phone that can connect to the internet now is a "smart" phone. Or at least an internet enabled one. Pretty sure you can write more than a sentence though.
