Hal, thanks for your post. In Lakewood, Colorado there is a place for the homeless and hungry to go for food and other assistance. In one day they give out 3,000 lbs of food. Not to mention money for clothing, utilities, housing and bus tokens. This is an amazing organization and the need is great. Jeffco Action Center does great work in giving people a helping hand. Yes, one can of food can make a difference.
