It looks too small to be a Target, but a girl can dream...

Town Pump very rarely doesn't build something that doesn't include a casino in it. So don't hold your breath I look for the Hotel to have a lounge that will have a casino in it. Guess we will wait and see.

1) The site plan was NOT approved for a bar and casino. It was approved for a motel with a couple of meeting rooms and a caterer's kitchen i.e. foods can be kept warm or cold but not prepared on site.

2) They have not applied for any kind of liquor license which is necessary before a casino license can be applied for.

3) It will be built down the lot, so the narrow, blank front wall will be facing Haynes. There were some concerns about appearance, since the initial plan wasn't colored and it appeared to be a grey prison. Turns out the color wasn't applied to that printing and we were shown the picture posted here. Not gorgeous, but acceptable. They are also going heavily for native landscaping so, with any luck they won't end up with a bunch of dead trees out front, like some of the motels out there.

4) There have been some issues with egress and ingress but they are solved to the satisfaction of MDT. The rest of us who have to drive out on Haynes may be less thrilled.
