My daughter has something similar for note taking. It records the lecture as she takes notes and later on she can touch her notes and the pen will play back that section of the lecture. She can also share her notes online. It does use special paper though. She loves it.

This looks like a really useful tool. I just wonder how bad they're going to rip you off for the replacement ink cartridges.

...if they're anything like the Intuos4 inking pen (which this is based on) it's $3.95 for a cartridge. That's about as much as a good Foster refill and last about as long.

i use the wacom bamboo tablet and it is awesome. it is not really a drawing tool as it takes alot of practice to draw well with it. but for editing pictures or cleaning up lines it is awesome
