This is coming up in September and we want to do something special! Do you know of anyone who has any photos of the theatre? I've tracked down a few postcards with the rainbow in the background but if you could dig through old parade pictures and see if you have any, I'd be THRILLED!!!

Equally thrilling are stories about going to or working at the Montana over the years. If you don't have a memory, ask an older family member or friend. I am collecting these both for an article and for the birthday party next month.

Email or call my office (234-3090) or drop by the theatre between shows to leave contact info or photos or come to my office in the afternoons! We want to make it special! If you have any 1930's clothes or hats, let me know as well. We may be dressing up for the occasion!

While I loved going to the Montana Theater when I was a kid in the 70s the only distinct memory I have of it was when the old biddy selling tickets wouldn't believe I was only 11. I told her to call my mom but it was very embarrassing.

Amorette...Will you please take a look under MC memorabilia. I have a question about a picture I have. Sorry, it is not the theatre. Thank you.

Who was that old lady? I remember her questioning my age every time I went to the theatre. I have a few parade photos that have the Montana in them. I also have a few photos of my kids at the snack bar when they worked there.

Is this for a special piece for the paper?

I was born in 1957 and most likely learned to crawl and walk there,I know every square inch of the place but I don't have any pictures. The lady that owned it name was susan kanutesen(spelling could be way off)she livedin the appartment on the main street side upper level.I can't remember the ticket lady's name(I'm old)
I left Miles city in 1975 and have not been in the theatre since then,I hope they have done some improvements.
