And please tell me that if it is true he may be a "nerd," why is that bad?

I am a nerd. I married a nerd. We love "The Big Bang Theory." I was just pointing out that Kelly doesn't look quite so nerdish now.

I can vouch that Kelly looked the part back in college.

Kelly, did you ever know microbiology students by the names of Karla Dugan and Lorna Morgan from your days at MSU?

Karla sounds familiar, but I'm having trouble putting a face to the name. Lorna doesn't ring a bell.

As far as not looking so much like a nerd now, I will relate a short story.

A couple of weeks ago, I was in Helena on Friday and Saturday for a meeting. I went to Sleeping Giant Lanes Friday night to have a drink, cursing myself for forgetting my bowling gear in Miles City. While sitting at the bar, there was a mirror across from me. When I saw myself, my first thought was, "When did I turn into the creepy old guy?"

You do not look creepy, Kelly. You look interestingly complex.

Karla and Lorna were both older students (30's), undergrads in microbiology, and I think they both worked (for pay) in microbiology labs. Lorna worked in the "milk lab" which, if I recall correctly, was on S. 19th Street. I was just curious if you knew them as they were at MSU the same time as you. I admit, I remember very few of my fellow CompSci students from the time.

Oh, my. I just realized after reading about a bizarre murder of a band leader guy named Fuller from Houston in the Houston Press....I graduated 45 years ago from CCHS...

I never made it over to the labs on S. 19th. Never heard them called "milk labs" but thought they were USDA, so the name would make sense. I did all of my undergraduate thesis work in Cooley Lab, connected to Lewis Hall.

(Below) I assume Lorna worked in the "Milk & Egg Bureau". She referred to it as the "milk lab" and advised me to always buy the freshest milk I can find in the supermarket.
