I thought for sure, when I saw the title of this thread, that Cactus Plains was back.

I've been to this site a few times in years past but never joined. Seeing this AND my dad's obituary gave me the "push" to join ??
My Dad and grandmother (his mom)owned and operated Cloud Cleaners for 25 1/2 years, selling the equipment, etc but not the name, in the Fall of 1972. My Dad's name: Jack Roy Cloud and my grandmother's name: Thelma Bacon Cloud. My dad was the "dry cleaner" although knew and performed all functions of the business including alterations. My grandmother was a professional seamstress and a darn good one at that! ?? My grandfather, Roy Harris Cloud, was kinda the "fix-it" man there in his retirement years. My parents and my little sister, Caroline, and I moved to Richland, WA where Caroline and I still reside. My Mom ( C. Lucille Storms Cloud) passed in June of 2003 and my Dad passed in October of 2009 and are both buried here in Richland at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
