I just ordered a magazine from this fast talking kid, shut my door and decided to google this company. Its called atlantic circulation inc and all bad things no one ever gets their magazines. I wrote a check and the kid said they get more 'points' for cash sales. I feel so stupid. I am going to call the bank in the morning and stop payment. I just bought magic beans.. ugh. Please tell everyone you know about this, theyre cruising the neighborhoods as we speak

One came by here tonight too. I couldn't understand how the sales pitch worked so I said no. Definitely fast-talking.

Does Miles City require solicitors to have a license?

You should make the local police force know about this scam. Let's get those crooks out of town!

I don't think the City requires solicitor's licenses anymore. They haven't even required business licenses for 20 years.

Are you guys sure about this? I find fast-talking, sleazy, door-to-door salesmen to be the most reliable. Especially if there's a mysterious van parked nearby.

I gave $20 in cash to a guy selling the San Francisco Chronicle door to door once. The minute I closed the door I started thinking "I am such an idiot" but low and behold, a couple weeks later the paper started showing up. Interestingly enough, I got the paper for a couple years for that original $20. Apparently the Chronicle is more concerned about keeping their circulation numbers up than actually getting paid for the paper.
