Just tried the Hong Kong restaurant at the Olive for the first time. Was very impressed! Had the Chicken Lo Mein and an order of Crab Puffs (crab wontons). Both were great; the chicken was tender, vegetables were fresh and crisp, good seasoning, wasn't drowning in a sea of sauce, and the puffs were hot and crispy! VERY GOOD!!! And it was ready in less than 10 min.!
Had heard mixed reviews, some about the food and several about the prices being high, but I thought it was very reasonable for the amount of food I got. I got enough Lo Mein for at least two, if not three good-sized meals!
I have never had a problem with New Hunan and do visit them ocassionally, but think Hong Kong is just as good, and maybe better. Have to say, I will definitely try them again! And its nice to have another option besides pizza or a steak house downtown.
KUDOS!
