Here's the latest word on events that have changed or been canceled due to rain. Please update only with reliable information.

As of 11 a.m. on Friday:

The parade, bull riding, the bucking horse sale and the rodeo are still ON!

Horse races have been canceled

The Kiwanis BBQ in the park has been canceled

The art center's Quick Draw has an alternate rain location in the Rainbow Room upstairs at the Eagles. If the weather turns nice, it will still be in the park. If it is raining, it will be at the Eagles.

As stated in Wednesday's Star:

The Texas Club will have Small Block Fury perform Thursday and KFCx2 on Friday and Saturday on the 700 block of Main Street. If it is raining heavily, those performers will go inside.

The Runaways are performing on Thursday on Main Street and Friday and Saturday on South Seventh Street. Rain cancels the performances.

In the showmobile, O.K. Olson is performing Thursday night and the band Merger on Friday and Saturday nights. Rain does not cancel.

Thursday through Saturday nights the Montana Bar will have comedian and musician Yancy deVer performing inside.

I also know a band from Glendive, LAW (Life After Work) is playing at the Olive. Not sure what acts other places are having, but most seem to have a band for BHS.

The shearing contest is still on. The preliminaries start at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday with the finals at noon. We are one event with a roof over our heads as the contest is held in the Agrisports Center at the Eastern Montana Fairgrounds.
