shower feels different than normal. almost like the water has gotten harder or softer either way it is different. and lots more air bubbles almost carbonated out of the tap.

MCFD has been purging the fire hydrants around town and told every one that the water will look murky for awhile.

I am guessing that they have had to up the chemical levels after all of the past rains.

I read somewhere that while they increase the use of chemicals to treat the water during spring runoff, the residual chemicals that remain in the treated water aren't necessarily greater. But, harmless organic matter (i.e., leaf matter that gets flushed into the water source during runoff) that remains in the treated water reacts with the residual chlorine to cause odor in the water.
