Camps for Kids this summer
Posted by Stacie Miller (+240) 12 years ago
I was hoping to get some information on sports or outdoor camps and vacation bible schools for kids this summer. I'm trying to create a combined list as a resource for families in our area. Please let me know of anything you are aware of and any contact information I might need to get information. Thanks so much!

"Camp Bonine" will be in Miles City Aug 5-7. If you have plans for the Airport Inn on the evening of the 5th, you might want to change them. At last count there was 70 people coming.

What is the collective noun for a grouping of Bonines?

I've already claimed "Brobdingnag" for a collection of Bridgiers, but there are plenty of words available - A badger of Bonines? An epistemology?

Discuss.

Umm... I think the word you are really looking for is "forest"

But let's not hijack yet another thread.

What other camps and activities are planned for this summer in ?

Miles City Youth Soccer Association is again bring Challenger British Soccer Camps to Miles City on August 1st - 5th. You can register online at www.challengersports.com and if they do it 45 days before camp you can get a free soccer jersey. MCYSA actually pays a portion of the camp in order to allow more kids to be able to come and learn about soccer, get some exercise, learn about British culture and have fun, fun, fun!! If you have any questions please call Patty at 234-6940.

First United Methodist Church has an awesome summer camp. They have plenty of staff for all the children plus several junior leaders that assist. Mr. Friese helps out and he is such a hoot. Kids for all congregations join in and have a great time. Here is some links for information for you.

One of the major ministries of our church is Vacation Bible School. Involving up to 150 participants of all ages and many, many more support staff, Vacation Bible School is fun and faith-inspiring!

Vacation Bible School 2011 will be held July 11-15.

This year's theme is Panda Mania! Find out more here http://pandamania.group.com/
