Mary Faye Cotter in the next stage of life.

Mary Faye fell last week in Miles City and broke her hip. She is in Billings at Valley Health Care, 1807 24th St. West, Billings, Montana 59102. She would be delighted by any kind of correspondence. I know she got myself and many friends through many illnesses through the years. She always made going to the doctor's office a lot easier and less painful. I know she would not feel that she did anything special but I know a lot of people would not feel that way.

Thank you so much. I have been very worried about Mary Faye and will get a card off to her today. She is a wonderful person. I had checked at St. V's where she volunteered just last week and they thought she might be at Cottonwood Care. I will let them at St. V's as well. Thank you again.

Thank you for creating this blog... I am Mary Faye's great-niece, Katey Tuchscherer Franklin, of Bozeman, MT. My family and I went to Billings today to see "Sis" for Mother's Day. My mother, Michele Cotter Tuchscherer, and Aunt, Mary Cotter, are there in Billings comforting and caring for Sis. It was nice to see everyone.

Sis is a vibrant woman who has inspired and challenged me my entire life. She has taught me so much- how to be strong, compassionate, and to treasure our family. She has taught me how important it is to reach out to people who need help, or a swift kick in the bum (or both). She has taught me how to be a humble, patient person as well. She is, and has always been, my connection to the Cotter roots. I love her deeply, and am grateful for the times we have spent.

I held Sis's hand today, and cried with my mom. I am glad to have spent another day with my Great-Aunt.

What a beautiful message regarding Mary Faye. I know of several from Miles City who are planning to check on her in Billings. She has many, many friends. A beautiful lady.

I, too, consider Mary Faye a wonderful person. We enjoyed many, many laughs together at St. Vincent's while volunteering! We loved her stories and her opinions. What a wonderful woman! My husband remembered going to see her at the clinic when he was a boy. He said she never changed. Lots of hugs to her! We miss her at Vinnie's!

It's too bad she can't be moved back to Miles City so all her friends can visit.
