Fill an old sock with moth balls, and find a place in your engine compartment to stash it. Make sure to find a spot away from any heat sources. This worked well for me.

I just keep a cat in my engine. Works great. Just stay away from dogs, though.

I couldn't find a way to keep them out, but I found that a live trap in my vehicle was an effective way of keeping them under control....and my cats do like to wait under my vehicle, so they haven't been as bad. the mice in my world ate the "cab fresh" that was supposed to keep them away! Good luck.

lol on the cab fresh. the cats are indoor and outdoor. the mice are little poops. i mean seriously? i run my car everyday to work.i'll try the mothball thing and see how that works. we found 2 of them in my glove box yesterday and they disappeared before i got them and now i have no idea where the little critters are.

I have used unused dryer sheets in tractors and farm equipment that sets all winter and have NO mice in them ( Iam sure it helps that I have a couple barn cats)just put in the glove box , under the seats and any place you can stuff them. works for me !!!!
